FAQ

Q. Is reflexology painful?

NO. But it can feel a little uncomfortable at times if a reflex is out of balance.

Q. Does reflexology tickle?

NO. The reflexologist uses a firm pressure to work on the feet.

Q. What does a reflexology treatment involve?

Each treatment is tailored to your specific needs. The treatment involves a foot massage and precision or linking techniques. I then treat one foot at a time using various relaxation techniques on different reflex points. A reflex point that is tender indicates an imbalance of energy, working on this reflex it will disperse and ease the problem.

Q. What should i wear?

Wear anything that is comfortable but ideally do not wear tights as tights or socks and shoes will need to be removed to allow me to work on the feet.

Q. How many treatments should i have?

It usually depends on the person and the reason for treatment. I would normally advise between 6-8 sessions to kick start the body into re-balancing then a regular monthly treatment to maintain the rebalance.

Q. Will i have a reaction to treatment?

Different people have different reactions. During treatment some people get sweaty palms or feel cold. Some people get really thirsty. After treatment, some people can feel energised, others relaxed and sleepy. The treatment can make some people emotional and occasionally tearful. All of these are completely normal.
