About Holistic Harmony

Welcome to Holistic Harmony by Cathy Lyness. Guided by over 25 years of compassionate experience across health and social care, psychology, and complementary therapies, I offer a dedicated sanctuary where body and mind come together to restore balance, calm, and genuine hope for the future.

A journey born from personal healing

My holistic journey began 17 years ago during the most challenging chapter of my life whilst facing fertility struggles.

In a period when I felt completely lost, complementary therapy provided an essential sense of grounding calm and stability.

I experienced first hand the amazing benifits of Reflexology on both my body and mind and I felt compelled to learn more about this ancient art of healing.

What started as a personal curiosity to learn more about Reflexology soon turned into a great love and passion.  Over the years I have added to my portfolio within this sector with qualifications in, level 5 Advanced reflexology,   ear candling, facials, Indian Head massage, Capacitor well being practices, Energy work and massage therapy.

Having spent over 25 years working in social care, youth work, community development and psychology, that personal turning point deepened my dedication to helping others find peace, nurture the mind-body connection, and rediscover resilience via complementary therapies and Holistic Harmony was born.

Our approach to your wellbeing

True healing thrives when we honour the vital connection between body and mind. I believe taking time for yourself should be a non-negotiable priority in life, not an afterthought.

When you step into your treatment, you will find a calm, comforting environment where you are truly listened to and heard. Clients leave feeling contented, emotionally fulfilled, and recharged with renewed hope and practical balance for everyday life.

Professional expertise and community care

You can feel completely secure knowing your care is underpinned by decades of front-line practice in adult mental health and learning disability services.

My academic qualifications include BSc Psychology, BSW Social work, OCN Youth work, motivational interviewing, Mental Health First Aid, personality disorder training and professional coaching skills to name only a few.

I also proudly support my local community and grassroot initiatives, collaborating closely with community groups, supported living/residential accomadation settings as well as local charities.

I am the referred complementary therapist for Knitted Knockers of Northern Ireland and cancer survivors, providing treatments, wellbeing groups, talks, and practical workshops designed to relieve stress and ease physical discomfort.  As well as providing therapeutic intervention for individuals at PIPS Hope and support, Lurgan.

"Coming here gave me the time and space I so desperately needed. I felt truly listened to, calm, and walked away with genuine comfort and hope.  Cathy is great knowledge and has signposted not only me but my son to other services to help us on our mental health journey "
